Self Study Program 66 – Skoda Superb II Presentation of the vehicle part II

VAG SSP 66. The new Škoda Superb is available with a whole series of technical novelties and interesting solutions. For example, a few of them include the knee airbag on the driver’s side, the rear side airbags, the park assist or the bi-xenon headlights with AFS function.

The headlights of the new Škoda Superb, which extend to the wings with their unconventional design, give a dynamic appearance to the vehicle front. They represent a highly visible component and a striking dominant feature of the elegant vehicle design.

The bi-xenon headlights distinguish themselves by their luminous intensity and by their functionality in combination with the new adaptive headlight system AFS (Adaptive Front Lighting System). The light adapts automatically to the optimum roadway illumination of the respective driving situation. When cornering, the headlights swivel according to the steering angle. Depending on the current driving conditions, the illuminated area in front of the vehicle changes in accordance with the detected operating mode for the city, such as the motorway or when driving in rain.
