General data, characteristics, as well as servicing and repair operations as dealt with in this instruction, are common for 125P vehicles in both passenger car and station wagon version. Both the passenger car and the station wagon version are powered optionally by two types of engines, i.e. the 1300 cu.cm (116C.076/56) and the 1500 cu.cm (115C.076/52) version.
Technical details, characteristics, and servicing and repair operations listed, apply to both models (powered by 1300 cu.cm or by 1500 cu.cm engine) alike. So far the above data are not common, they have been listed separately, with the corresponding version indicated. The last Chapter of this book deals with differences concerning the characteristic and general data of station wagon in relation to those pertaining to the passenger car version.
As concerns major modification changes and/or new design developments introduced, the date of the change in question having been effected in the vehicle, will be mentioned as from this edition of the book onwards. Such information will be listed in every Chapter dealing with the new design development and/or modification change in question. Apart from the above, the information concerned will be listed in Chapter 11, in the form of index of changes effected in the vehicle, in relation to the foregoing edition of this Book. The information concerning the change effected will include date and/or serial number of engine/bodywork as from which the change in question becomes effective (depending on what the change does concern). In case of changes pertaining to many elements of the vehicle, such an information will also contain the spare parts serial number. The engine, bodywork, and spare part No. are stamped on the identification plate incorporated in every vehicle.
