MID 146 PID 170 FMI 3 Cab temperature sensor. The climate control unit registers the voltage in the temperature sensor circuit above 4.86 V. The sensor is not connected to the control unit. It is possible to short the signal or ground wire to a higher voltage.
MID 146 PID 170 FMI 4 Cab temperature sensor. The climate control unit registers the voltage in the temperature sensor circuit below 0.7 V. The signal wire is shorted to ground or the sensor is faulty.
MID 146 PID 171 FMI 3 Outdoor temperature sensor. The microclimate control unit registers the voltage in the temperature sensor circuit above 4.9 V. Closure of the signal or ground wire to a higher voltage. The sensor may be faulty.
MID 146 PID 171 FMI 4 Outdoor temperature sensor. The climate control unit registers the voltage in the temperature sensor circuit below 0.55 V. The signal wire is shorted to ground or the sensor is faulty.
MID 146 SID 2 FMI 3 Air temperature sensor (located between the evaporator and the fan). The climate control unit registers the voltage in the temperature sensor circuit above 4.86 V. The sensor is not connected to the control unit. It is possible to short the signal or ground wire to a higher voltage.
MID 146 SID 2 FMI 4 Air temperature sensor (located between the evaporator and the fan). The climate control unit registers the voltage in the temperature sensor circuit below 0.24 V. The signal wire is shorted to ground or the sensor is faulty.
MID 146 SID 5 FMI 4 Stepper motor controls damper external air flow and recirculation. The climate control unit registers a short to ground. Shorting the signal wire of an electric motor to a lower voltage or ground.

MID 146 SID 11 FMI 4 Clutch air conditioning compressor. Shorting the signal wire to a lower voltage or ground circuit.
MID 146 SID 11 FMI 5 Clutch air conditioning compressor. Broken wire mass of the compressor clutch or defective clutch.
MID 146 SID 12 FMI 3 Coolant flow control valve through heat exchanger. Shorting the signal or ground wire to a higher voltage.
MID 146 SID 12 FMI 4 Coolant flow control valve through heat exchanger. Shorting the signal wire to ground.
MID 146 SID 12 FMI 5 Coolant flow control valve through heat exchanger. Broken power wire, ground, defective fuse   F32   or valve is faulty.

MID 146 SID 18 FMI 3 Stepper motors, third phase. Shorting the signal wire of the corresponding phase of an electric motor to a higher voltage.
MID 146 SID 19 FMI 3 Stepper motors, fourth phase. Shorting the signal wire of the corresponding phase of an electric motor to a higher voltage.
MID 146 SID 22 FMI 3 Refrigerant pressure sensor in the system. The microclimate control unit registers a signal with a voltage higher than 4.5 V from the pressure sensor. The signal or ground wire is closed at a higher voltage.
MID 146 SID 22 FMI 4 Refrigerant pressure sensor in the system. The climate control unit registers a signal with a voltage below 0.3 V from a pressure sensor. The signal wire is shorted to ground, there is a wire break between the unit and the sensor, or the sensor is not connected to the connector.
MID 146 SID 232 FMI 3 Power supply 5 V. Refrigerant pressure sensor in the system. The climate control unit registers the sensor supply voltage above 5.5 V. Closing the signal or ground wire to a higher voltage.
