VAG SSP 89K303. This Self-Study Program provides you with the design and function of the new 6-speed automatic transmission, which is installed in the Touareg. The 09D 6-speed automatic transmission was developed at the famous Japanese manufacturer of automatic transmissions, AISIN Co., LTD, where it is manufactured. This 6-speed automatic transmission, which has a very compact construction, is being used for the first time in the Volkswagen Touareg.

The 09D 6-speed automatic transmission provides:
