VAG SSP 84. The second generation of the Fabia RS model received a 1.4 TSI petrol engine featuring dual-charging via a compressor and a turbocharger with a power output of up to 132 kW (180 hp). This represents a huge leap forward for the second generation, whereby the dynamic parameters are almost identical – the vehicle has the ability to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.3 seconds and the pointer of the speedometer specific to the Combi version only stops when the vehicle has reached its top speed of 224 km/h or 226 km/h. Even at a fraction of the maximum performance, the fuel consumption of the new RS is very low, it requires just 6.4 litres of fuel to drive 100 km.

The power is transferred together with the torque to the wheels via a 7-speed automatic DSG gearbox. The vehicle’s harmoniously-tuned chassis together with the XDS system (electronic differential lock) enhance the driving experience.
