VAG SSP 75. The continuing development of the highly successful direct shift gearbox 02E led to the creation of the 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox 0AM. Just as the direct shift gearbox 02E, it fulfills the increased demand for driving comfort while ensuring that a gear change with no interruption of power flow can be implemented.

It is designed for engines with a torque of up to 250 Nm.

While the direct shift gearbox in terms of fuel consumption is still at a level comparable to vehicles fitted with manual gearboxes, identical technical innovations in the transmission design of the dual-clutch gearbox 0AM contribute to a reduced fuel consumption compared to vehicles fitted with manual shift gearboxes.

A reduced fuel consumption contributes significantly toward reduction in emissions.
