Self Study Program 571 – The Polo 2018

VAG SSP 571 – The Polo 2018: Dynamic Proportions and Innovative Features. The Polo 2018, the sixth generation of Volkswagen’s popular model, is built as a four-door model for the first time and based on the modular transverse matrix (MQB), allowing for more dynamic proportions and a sportier, more powerful look. The wheelbase, exterior length, and overall width have grown, resulting in more space in the interior and a larger luggage compartment volume.

The power unit range starts at 48 kW and goes up to 147 kW in the Polo GTI, with the newly developed 1.0-l TGI natural gas engine delivering 66 kW joining the range for the first time.

New driver assist systems, including the Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Traffic Alert, parking steering assistance PLA 3.0, and parking aid with maneuver braking function at the rear, provide added safety and convenience.

The design of the dash panel allows for a new way of arranging its components, with the centrally located Active Info Display now at the same height as the Infotainment system and offering new functions and controls.

Self Study Program 571 provides a detailed look at the features and technologies of the Polo 2018, making it a valuable resource for technicians and enthusiasts interested in Volkswagen‘s latest addition to their lineup.
