VAG SSP 23. This Self Study Programme presents to you the engineering and operation of this 110 kW turbo engine. Part II of the SSP informs you of modifications to the 1.8-ltr. 92 kW engine in Model Year 98

The range of engines for the OCTAVIA now also includes a turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine. This is based on a group engine range and has been specifically developed for transverse mounting.

This new engine is the first time that a turbo engine featuring five valves for each cylinder is available as a standard engine in the compact class.
