This Body Repair Manual is the general edition for the repair of vehicles with monocoque bodies and frames, and contains the necessary information (body construction, welding, corrosion protection, painting, etc.) for those involved in these repairs Careful adherence to the service procedures contained in this manual and in the “Body Repair Manual” for the individual vehicle model will ensure the strength and durability of the welding work and preserve the original functions of the vehicle. Please read the information contained herein carefully and make full use of it while performing the repair procedures.
Note that, in order to maximise the efficiency of the repair work, first both the extent of the damage and the replacement parts must be checked after getting a full understanding of the body construction of each respective vehicle, and then the actual repair operation must be carried out accurately and efficiently.
