The MPYA 1991 Legend transaxle Is a completely new unit. As you will notice the engine is mounted in a north south direction. Similiar to most rear drive units. However this is a front wheel drive four speed automatic transaxle.

This unit is fully computerized with a converter clutch. The valve body is accessible with the unit in the vehicle. It has a removeable oil pan that gives us access. This repair manual includes all the electrical diagnosis information needed when working on this vehicle along with the teardown and assembly.
